Today, an Agreement concerning cooperation for conducting preparatory works aiming at establishing the conditions for the execution of a construction plan for building a mine and power plan in Nigeria was signed. The agreement assumes building, by Polish companies, mines on the territory of Nigeria on an existing coal deposits and coal-based power plant of the power of 2000 MW, together with compulsory power management infrastructure and other power plants. The Parties holding the Agreement are: POLNORD SA, Bumar Sp. z o.o, COAL ENERGY LTD. , KOPEX SA, PROCOM SYSTEM S.A., RAFAKO S.A., ENERGOPROJEKT - KATOWICE" S.A.
The Parties are willing to undertake all necessary preparatory actions aiming at guaranteeing them participation in the execution of the subject Project. When this goal is achieved, the Parties declare preparedness to establish a Consortium.
