On September 11, 2008, the last day of 16th International Defence Industry Exhibition an awards and distinctions was granted.

The Bumar Ltd Co. has been awarded with the Kielce Trade Fair Medal for stand arrangement at MSPO 2008 Fair and also with the Award of the President of Kielce Trade Fair for winning the first place in shooting competition in which participated the representatives of MSPO 2008 Fair exhibitors. Irena Rafałowicz, Director of Marketing Department in Bumar Ltd Co. has been honoured with the Award of Kielce Trade Fair Board called "Co-originator of Our Success" of thanks for longstanding cooperation and supporting the International Defence Industry Exhibition organized by the Kielce Trade Fair.

The Communications Equipment Works "PZL -Warszawa II" Plc. has been honoured with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education Special Award for the Detection and Fire Fighting Optoelectronic System for Combat Vehicles and Armoured Transporters called STOPFIRE.

The Scientific-Industrial Centre of Professional Electronics RADWAR Plc. has been granted with the DEFENDER Award for Short-Range Anti-Aircraft System called KOBRA.

Industrial Optics Centre Plc. from Warsaw has been awarded with the Distinction of the Ministry of the Treasury and with the DEFENDER Award for the MU-3 night vision monocular.
