Today, i.e. on September 9, 2008, the Special Production Plants (ZPS) Ltd. Co. in Pionki - a company which is a member of the Bumar Group, and Nitrochemie AG a member of Rheinmetall Defence Group (partially belonging to RUAG) have conducted a contract on reconstruction and modernization of the ZPS Ltd Co.

Thanks to this agreement the ZPS Ltd. Co. will become a modern manufacturer of gunpowder and incendiary elements and devices for ammunition, what will allow to become in considerable extend independent from gunpowder supply form abroad. The ZPS Ltd Co. will offer its products not only in Poland, but also on world markets.

Thanks to this agreement The Bumar and Nitrochemie AG will contribute to considerable progress in the field of European Defence Industry cooperation.
