16th International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce we can judge as successful.

The exposition of Bumar Group was located in the "C" Hall as well as on the open exhibition grounds. The total area of Bumar Group`s exposition was 4,750 square meters and it was a record in terms of exhibition area we have ever had during our presence at MSPO Fair.

22 companies presented their offers as a part of a Group`s joint stand.

The Bumar Group pavilion was visited, among others, by the delegation of the Ministry of National Defence headed by the Minister of National Defence, Bogdan Klich; in the composition of this delegation was also present the Under Secretary of State for Armaments and Modernization, Zenon Kosiniak-Kamysz, as well as the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, Gen Franciszek Gągor. We hosted at our exposition also the following guests: the Under Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economy, Dariusz Bogdan, and the Commander of Polish Land Forces, Lt. Gen Waldemar Skrzypczak. Apart from this, our stand was visited by many national and foreign delegations, and the Fair became an opportunity to carry out many talks with existing partners as well as to establish numerous new business connections.

We have used the Fair also as an occasion to present the Bumar Group Strategy for the years 2008 - 2012. Mr Edward E. Nowak, President of the Board of Bumar Ltd Co. presented the details on this strategy during a specially organized press conference. Our President participated also, among others, in the conference titled "New Technologies in Armament Systems" organized by the Military University of Technology (WAT), the Ministry of National Defence (MON) and the RAPORT, where he held a presentation on the future of Polish defence industry.

Writing about the offer presented at MSPO Fair by the companies being a members of Bumar Group one should mention such products as technical recovery vehicle WZT-4, MS-20 Daglezja towed support bridge (at MSPO Fair the dynamic presentation of this bridge took place), POPRAD anti-aircraft mobile missile launcher and MMSR 3D radar mounted on Zubr vehicle platform, wheeled armoured carrier 8x8 "Rosomak", MU3 night vision monocular, RAD repeatable gun, as well as a transportable containerized shooting range.

At MSPO 2008 Fair a few very important contracts were concluded. During the first day of MSPO Fair an agreement on cooperation between the CNPEP RADWAR Plc. and the Military Electronic Works Plc. in Zielonka was signed.

During the second day the Special Production Plants in Pionki and Nitrochemie company conducted a contract on reconstruction and modernization of ZPS Ltd Co. Next, on Wednesday, the Bumar Ltd Co. and Jelcz Komponenty company signed the letter of intent in which they declare the will to conclude a contract on cooperation in the area of selling and manufacturing the Jelcz Komponenty products.

Thursday was a day on which at MSPO Fair awards were granted. The Bumar Ltd Co. has been awarded with the Kielce Trade Fair Medal for comprehensive and innovative presentation of Polish defence industry offer, and also with the Award of the President of Kielce Trade Fair for winning the first place in shooting competition, in which participated the representatives of MSPO 2008 Fair exhibitors. Irena Rafałowicz, Director of Marketing Department in Bumar Ltd Co. has been honoured with the Award of Kielce Trade Fair Board called "Co-originator of Our Success" of thanks for longstanding cooperation and supporting the International Defence Industry Exhibition organized by the Kielce Trade Fair. An awards were also granted to the companies belonging to the WSK Group: the "PZL -Warszawa II" Plc. has been awarded with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education Special Award, whereas the Defender Awards went to CNPEP RADWAR Plc. and PCO Plc. companies, and apart from this the PCO Plc. company has been honoured with the Distinction of the Ministry of the Treasury.
